Traditional Asian Finger Food -- CuCur Udang & Roti Paun

It looks mouth watering and the truth is one bite it takes your breath away. Call it "Cucur Udang" in Malay language and they are one of those favorite finger foods or snacks you can find easily in most Asian countries.

Made from rice flour and deep fried with onions and slices of prawn meat topped with different spices and herbs, the end product is scrumptious and irresistable..

This other one here is called the "Roti Paun" meaning pound bread and as usual this is also another local favorite among Asians. The center filling is made of a strong taste curry paste with chicken meat cutlets.

The outer layer is covered with crumbs, rolled and then deep fried until golden brown. What an exciting way to tea in the afternoon!
