Richest Natural Sources of Anti Oxidants


Our living has become highly stressful and alarming to health in many different ways. Consider, nowadays we eat junk food, highly processed and canned food and is often exposed to toxic gases and fumes everyday everywhere. It is not surprising we are looking at more and more cancer patients each year. This provided a good reason for anti-oxidant foods to combat the process of oxidation within the cells of our body.

What is Oxidation? Oxidation is defined as the interaction between oxygen molecules and all the different substances they may come to contact with, from metal to living tissue. The oxidation process can be destructive considering examples such as the rusting of an automobile or the spoiling of fresh fruit or brown spots or blemishes on the skin.. On a molecular level — we only see the large-scale effects as the oxygen causes free radicals on the surface to break away. 

So choose to eat natural sources of High antioxidant foods such as:


   1.FRUITS
      Berries (Cherry, blackberry, strawberry, raspberry, crowberry, blueberry, bilberry/wild blueberry, black currant), pomegranate, grape, orange, plum, pineapple, kiwi fruit, grapefruit.
   2. VEGETABLES
      Kale, chili pepper, red cabbage, peppers, parsley, artichoke, Brussels sprouts, spinach, lemon, ginger, red beets.
   3. DRIED FRUITS RICH IN ANTIOXIDANTS
      Apricots, Prunes, Dates, Raisins, .
   4. LEGUMES
      Broad beans, pinto beans, soybeans.


   5. NUTS & SEED
      Almonds, Cashews, Pecans, walnuts, hazelnuts, ground nut, sunflower seeds,Sesame, Tahini.
   6. CEREAL
      Barley, millet, oats, corn.
   7. SPICES
      cloves, cinnamon, oregano
