Bak Kut Teh Asian Chinese Pork Rib Tea Soup

Bak Kut Teh is a favorite serve among the Chinese people available in most Asian countries. You can find some of the nicest ones at hawker stalls where you spot a lot of people already enjoying mouthfuls at their tables with families and friends. What people love the most is the rich flavored soup base often made with a variety of different herbs, spices and tea including, star anise, cinnamon, cloves, dang gui, fennels and garlic simmered  for long hours together with pork meat and ribs.
Eaten with plain rice and "youtiao" or deep fried dough also complementing condiments made of garlic and soya sauce, the meal becomes almost irresistible tempting your taste buds on each hearty mouthful, which is hot, savory and delicious! It is also known to benefit the body, boosting the immune system, replenishing the spleens, strengthens the muscles and repairs damaged skin tissues. Think of it as an Asian style meat stew.
